What does Index out of Date mean? |
This error condition means that you have to repair the database. It could be a power outage or system crash has affected the database index files.
To run the database repair program make sure everyone else is off Contact Plus then click on the Start button, Program Files, Contact Plus Professional, Tools, Database Repair. Or you can double click on the file entitled prrepair.exe located in the cppro folder.
Run the Database Repair program and repair the database. If you are using Contact Plus and the error specified a specific database like the EVENT.DB file, you can select that file to repair. Also, if you are having problems with the EVENT.DB, it is a good idea to do a Normalize after the rebuild to make certain there are no corrupt dates or times.
