Question Title Error: tblsettings cannot modify the readonly dataset
I keep getting the error tblsettings cannot modify the read only dataset when I try and open the program

--

This error is fairly clear.  It states that the settings.db table located in the CPPRO\DATA folder is set to read-only therefore Contact Plus will not run.  All of the files located in the CPPRO\DATA folder must be writable by everyone on your network.  It's probably easiest to set the files to NOT be read-only by right clicking on the DATA folder from Windows Explorer and then going to the Properties menu choice.  On the Properties screen there is a checkbox entitled READ-ONLY.  That checkbox should NOT be checked.  If it is checked or if it's partially checked then uncheck the box and click on APPLY to set all of the files in the DATA folder to NOT be read-only.
