WebCalendarCreator Conversion InformationIf you're a user of Grafix Network WebCalendarCreator we've got great news. We have a conversion utility that will import all of your existing events into Web Cal Plus format (including repeating events). The best news is that we will convert your WebCalendarCreator 2002 data even if you haven't already purchased a copy of Web Cal Plus. If you're using the trial version we will convert the data for you so you can see the benefits of Web Cal Plus. The following fields will be imported: The layout of the calendar is not imported. Neither are the fields for Name Color and Text Colors as these don't have a one to one correspondence with Web Cal Plus. However, Web Cal Plus is capable of coloring the foreground and background of a category of events on the main 1-month calendar. For an example of foreground/background coloring see the sample calendar related to categories by clicking here Also since Web Cal Plus meters events individually you cannot have perpetual events on the calendar. Therefore during the import process an event that repeats perpetually will be converted to an event that repeats 20 times. If you're using the Basic version of Web Cal Plus which is limited to 400 events it may be possible to exceed this limit due to repeating events. We will convert all of your events even if it exceeds the 400 event limit but you'll not be able to add new events. You'll have to either upgrade to the Advanced version or selectively delete your existing events to bring the total down to the license limit.. We will need you to email an attached copy of your webcal.gcl file which contains all of your data. Your webcal.gcl file is probably located in the c:\grafix\webcal folder. Click on the link below to start this process. Note that any existing data in Web Cal Plus will be overwritten in the conversion process. We will convert your data once for free. After that there is a support charge of $45. Click here to send your webcal.gcl file for conversion Click here to view a video on the conversion process.
