Video Tutorials on Home Inventory Report Designer

It's recommended that you view the following tutorials if you're interested in customizing and creating Home Inventory reports for My Stuff Deluxe. The new Home Inventory Report Designer module is quite powerful and it takes a bit of explaining to show you how to use the software.

If you're using the trial version of My Stuff Deluxe or have not yet purchased the Report Designer option you can play with the designer using version 4.0 or later but you will NOT be able to save your reports.

Report Designer Introduction (8 minutes)  - (recommended that you view this first) short introduction to the new My Stuff Deluxe report designer, colors, text formatting, data fields, data variables.

Report Designer Technical Intro (8 minutes)  - technical introduction and more details concerning - labels, colors, formatting, custom field names,

Report Designer Details (14 minutes)   - Goes over report components, report and page settings, aligning report elements, styles with report appearance, master/detail band, child bands, pictures on reports.

New Report Wizard (part 1 of 4) (5 minutes)   - Creating a new report using the Report Wizard. How to create a new report from scratch, selecting fields and columns, grouping and default formatting.

New Report Wizard (part 2 of 4) (10 minutes)   - Using report created in part 1 - create a totals at bottom of report, overcoming problems in placing fields on proper bands.

New Report Wizard (part 3 of 4) (11 minutes)   - using formulas to create a new column, importance of the SubTitle field for identifying contents of report filters.

New Report Wizard (part 4 of 4) (8 minutes)   - Create new reports with pictures, notes, etc using child bands. Important if you wish to include pictures, documents, repairs, etc into your inventory reports.
